Dnešním dnem představujeme svou prémiovou službu Geo Cluster 4XL, tedy vlastní technické řešení geografického serverového High-Availability clusteru, který vašim internetovým projektům zajistí ještě vyšší smluvní dostupnost (SLA) než umožňují naše standardní hostované služby.

Co je HA geografický cluster?
schema_HA_server_cluster_greenhousing Cluster s vysokou dostupností (anglicky High-Availability cluster nebo také Failover cluster) zajišťuje pomocí dvou (a více) serverů nepřetržité poskytování hostovaných služeb. Při výpadku primárního serveru je replikací automaticky zastoupen druhým serverem ve stejné konfiguraci, který je z důvodu vyšší bezpečnosti provozován v rámci jiného datacentra (proto geografický).

Jak náš Geo cluster server funguje?
Geografický failover server cluster obsahuje v základu dva servery Dell Power Edge (na schéma node 1 a node 2 ). První server (primární) poskytuje služby v běžném režimu. Druhý (failover) server je stále v pohotovostním režimu v druhém datacentru připraven na situaci, kdy primární systém selže. Primární server je automaticky (každých pár sekund) monitorován. V případě, že monitoring u aktivního systému (server 1) detekuje chybu (ať již SW nebo HW), převezme chod druhý uzel (server 2). Kdy se server cluster používá? Používá se v situacích, kdy potřebujeme zajistit, aby v případě poruchy jednoho uzlu, převzal jiný uzel IP adresu původního a začal co nejdříve obsluhovat požadavky.


Geo cluster server sdílí pouze jednu IP adresu.
- Danou IP adresu má v jednom okamžiku pouze jeden uzel, který bývá označen jako master. Ostatní uzly (node 2)  jsou záložní backup (může být více serverů, ale v základní nabídce je pouze jeden).
- Pokud je jeden uzel upřednostněný, slouží ostatní pouze jako záloha pro případ, ze dojde k poruše masteru. Po odstranění poruchy master uzlu, převezme teno uzel opět IP adresu. Řešení je tedy ideální pro všechny organizace, které potřebují zajistit kontinuitu podnikání a maximální provozuschopnost bez jediného bodu selhání.
